Event Cancelled: 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing Band

Because of the Federal Government Shutdown, the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing Band will NOT be visiting Bridgeport this week. As a result, the Concerts scheduled for October 10th and October 11th are cancelled. 

However, discussions are underway for alternative dates the Marines can perform once the Shutdown is lifted. Please stay tune for future announcements.

The Council of Italian American Societies of Greater Bridgeport expresses its regrets for any inconvenience or disappointment caused to the public as a result of the cancelation. But, at times, somethings are beyond our control. Thank you for your understanding and support.

In conclusion, please come to the 117th Greater Bridgeport Columbus Day Parade this Sunday, October 12th at 12:00 PM beginning at Madison and Jewett Avenues, South on Madison to Central High School off Madison Avenue for the Feast of Saint Francis.
